Bring us the brief. We'll sharpen it.

Eleven fields and one paragraph — that's the whole intake. We read every brief the day it lands, sharpen the role with you on a 30-minute call, and start sourcing against a calibrated comp range drawn from our own placements.

02The recruiting model

A 30-minute intake, a sharpened brief, and a slate within two weeks.

We answer every brief — never a parsed-and-punted form submission, never a chatbot triage. The recruiter who reads your intake is the same recruiter who calls the slate.

Step 01
Intake

A 30-minute call to sharpen the brief.

Once your intake lands, a senior recruiter on the relevant desk reads it the same day and books a 30-minute call. We sharpen the role, the team, and the comp band so the brief you source against is not the brief you wrote on a Friday night.

Step 02
Search

Comp calibrated from our own placements.

Our comp data comes from placements we have personally negotiated and closed — not Glassdoor, not a salary scraper. Vertical-specific, split by market and hire type, refreshed every quarter. Candidates enter the conversation knowing what the role is worth in their market; the hiring committee has shared numbers, not a moving target.

Step 03
Delivery

Shortlist within two weeks. NDA on request.

Most senior mandates have a slate within two weeks; contract and freelance move faster. Every brief ships with NDA-grade confidentiality by default, and our executive-search tier keeps the company name private until shortlist stage. Direct hire, contract, freelance, and contract-to-hire all run through one partner — you keep the same recruiter across hire types.

The short version

What you can expect.

Five sentences on what a Halftone engagement looks like, written for a hiring committee that wants the answer in thirty seconds.

  • A senior recruiter on your desk, not a generalist pool.
  • Calibrated comp, sourced from our own closed placements.
  • NDA-grade confidentiality for senior and C-suite mandates.
  • Direct hire, contract, freelance, and contract-to-hire.
  • One partner, one contract, one comp framework across hire types.
  • Senior mandates shortlist within two weeks.

03Tell us about the role

A sentence on the role, the team, and the timeline gives us what we need.

The fields below are the same ones a senior recruiter would ask in the intake call. Filling them in well compresses the search — the better the brief, the tighter the shortlist.

Required
Five fields

Company, contact, role, discipline, seniority.

The company name stays on the brief unless you choose the executive-search tier. The contact is who we reply to. The discipline and seniority place your search on the right desk and the right ladder.

Required
Four more

Comp range, location, work mode, confidentiality.

Comp goes in as the annual base range you have authorized, in whole US dollars. Location is one line — a city, "Remote — US", or a market shorthand. Confidentiality is the closure default — or a switch into NDA-grade territory.

The paragraph
Hiring need

Two sentences on the role, the team, and the timeline.

What is the role for, who does it join, and when does it need to start. That is the whole thing we need to read. Tell us about the work — the agency or the brand, the studio or the platform — and the brief will sharpen itself on the intake call.

04Brief us

Open the brief.

Eleven fields, one paragraph, no account, no password. We respond within one business day, every brief. Your company name stays on the brief unless you select the executive-search tier below.

We don't share your brief past the desk. NDA-grade confidentiality by default; NDA on request. If you'd rather pitch a confidential mandate by email, write halftone-talent@polsia.app.

Standard briefs reference your company on the candidate call. Executive-search runs end-to-end with an NDA — your company name stays private until shortlist stage.

A sentence on the role, the team, and the timeline gives us what we need to sharpen the brief before we start sourcing.

ClosingDirect line

Sometimes the search needs a paragraph before the form.

Introduce the search by email when the situation is sensitive — a confidential mandate, a multi-role hire, a referral you want to flag. One inbox, read every weekday by a senior recruiter on the desk the brief will land on.
